What the experts have to say about their visit to The Mill
| Home |
Elsie Dillard and Susan Causin "Bed and Breakfast Ireland". "Tosca and Kees Kramer fell in love with Bantry while on an Irish holiday from their native Holland, so they stayed and made Ireland their home. The Mill is a chalet style house, set back from the road in attractive landscaped gardens 1km from the town centre.. The Kramers have recently made extensive improvements to the house. This included making all bedrooms en-suite and adding a conservatory furnished with cane furniture, where guests can sit and relax. Most of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and have hairdryers and TVs. Kees Kramer is not only a craftsman, making all the wardrobes, cabinets and dining room tables, but also an artist. A selection of his work can be found around the house. There are plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants in the area, and close by there are golf, fishing and horseback riding. The Mill offers a laundry service. No pets and no smoking. The house is on the N71 in the direction of Glengariff. " |

"Colourful gardens are the setting for this well maintained double bungalow, a few minutes' drive from Bantry. Well appointed bedrooms are equipped with good showers, and a spacious dining/sitting room forms the heart of the house; decor throughout reflects the owner's ebullient personality and enthusiasm. Facilities include laundry service, television and ample car parking - and Dutch is spoken here."
